5 Metacritic Game Scores That Are Way Too Low (& 5 That Are Probably Too High)

And the funny part is you, and even the Fifa community know this, awarding the game a 1.7 score on Metacritic. Maybe it doesn’t deserve to be that low (or maybe it does) but it’s sickening to see the critic score of

In fact, it is one of the most pirated games Ubisoft has ever created. Why? Because you can’t buy it legally anywhere. It’s missing on Steam , GOG , and even Ubisoft’s own UPlay store. It receives that attention for good reason, though . This game allowed players to control any vehicle on the road, allowing for some creative puzzles and narrative elements no other driving game has since attempted. It is also the only video game to attempt a second-person perspective for a level. This game was truly innovative and creative, which makes it even worse that you can’t legally purchase it anymore.

Persona 5 Royal may have a different vibe from the Yakuza games, but the modern-day setting will appeal to those who enjoy the Yakuza series. The modern-day Tokyo setting will resonate with fans of Kamurocho from the Yakuza games. The protagonists and relatable supporting cast are as endearing to the player as the Yakuza games, with backstories that fans can get beh

The official E3 2019 Twitter account recently confirmed that the writers and producers of The Simpsons will be hosting an E3 coliseum panel, naturally leading to speculation that a new Simpsons game will be revealed . Indeed, it’s hard to imagine what else this panel could be for, but until there is actual confirmation, this should be taken with a grain of salt (which goes for many of the games on this list as we

Following the successful remake of Resident Evil 2 , details leaked online that Capcom was intending to annualize the franchise. This led to the belief that the remake of Resident Evil 3: Nemesis’s release date would be in January 2020 following an E3 2019 reveal, and considering that Capcom is rumored to be making a major announcement at the show, little could top another Resident Ev

Players work on a space ship that has gone dark. People are missing and something feels amiss. You quickly realize that terrifying monsters roam the empty halls of the Ishimura space ship. The player character is prey for this entire game. Enemies crawl out of vents in dim lighting while all you have are a few shots of your pistol and the character’s spine to diagnose your health. It was brilliant for the time and still holds up, but it is an IP EA has sadly put on ice.

The city the player runs through is mostly white, matching with the dizzying heights the player runs through. Red ramps and pipes guide the player on what is interactive. The actual fighting in this game is rather dull, but it is so infrequent it never harms the experience of running through skyscrapers like a pro. Its sequel, Mirror’s Edge Catalyst didn’t improve in the areas the original struggled with, resulting in mixed critical reviews.

Considering that Xbox currently can’t boast many big-name exclusives that really sell what its next-generation venture is all about, it makes sense for the company to go all out on Fable 4 and show it before the launch of its newest console. That’s not to say the game should be rushed to be a launch title for the Series X; nobody wants the game to not reach its potential purely for the sake of creating hype for the Serie

The rumors appear to be painting not only a significant next iteration for a much-beloved franchise, but also a rich, complex, and deeply customizable RPG that will show off just how powerful the Xbox Series X has the capability to be. The excitement from fans of the franchise alone trumps a lot of other significant games in the Xbox’s pipeline, with the Fable fanbase crossing their fingers in anticipation each and every time Xbox holds a major press event or confere

Instead, we got Fable 3, a game full of boring gameplay and a story that felt just as stale. Even games like Mass Effect 3 and Dead Space 3 offer somewhat of a good game, Fable 3 sadly just has nothing redeeming

Fable 3 is one of those games that makes you think “why, why isn’t this game good?” Any Xbox owner back in the early-to-mid 2000s would’ve told you that the 2025 fable franchise could contend with the greats. And all it needed was a crowing third game to solidify this franchise as one of the best – but, that never c

If we wanted to, we could litter this whole list with sports games. But we won’t do that to you, because these things hardly count as “real” games. Instead, they’re more so DLC for their previous version with few splashes of polish added in for good measure. Oh and that’s not even mentioning their real purpose which is to be gambling machines cleverly devised to eat your credit c

Players took the role of Banjo with his bird friend Kazooie. Together, you venture out to stop the evil plans of Gruntilda, an evil witch who only wants to benefit herself. Jigsaw pieces and musical notes are needed to progress to new zones, encouraging exploration and interacting with the game’s charming characters. The latest entry in the series was a vehicle-building title rather than a platformer, resulting in many fans disliking the departure.
